My name is Carole Moss (she/hers), and I come to therapeutic practice later in life.
I value person-centred approaches to therapy that are rooted in the stories, metaphors and imagery of our lives. I’d describe my approach as relational, warm, and relaxed.
I draw from modalities including: - Narrative therapy - Psychodynamic approaches - Grief models that focus on self-compassion and meaning-making - Complex trauma-informed care - Gender affirming care model
Areas of interest and expertise: - Grief and loss across the lifespan - Illness, disease and complex diagnoses - Oncology and palliative care - Caregiver burn out - Trans and gender affirming care - Trauma - Midlife stressors
I hold a B.A. in psychology, M.A. in social justice and equity, and an M.S.W. with training in pediatric palliative care.
